Melissa Bailey is a freelance illustrator based in London, UK. Graduating in 2011 with a first class degree in Illustration & Design, Melissa creates custom illustrations and designs.

She has worked for a number of clients, both national and international, including Chanel, Vogue, Jimmy Choo, The Guardian, Clarins, Stylist magazine and Harper’s BAZAAR Australia. Her work is inspired by fashion, feminine beauty and the joy of life. She works in a variety of media including pencil, watercolour, ink and digital.

Specialising in all things fashion and beauty related as well as; lifestyle, product, bridal illustration, hand drawn text and illustrated maps, she is an experienced illustrator working over a wide subject matter.

Melissa also does live illustration at events, both in-stores and for private clients around the UK, and internationally, in which she creates custom fashion illustrations in house. She has illustrated at events for clients such as Jimmy Cho, Pandora, Kurt Geiger and Christy’s at Ascot Racecourse, to name a few. Offering a unique experience and keepsake for everyone she illustrates.
